About Children’s Services Councils
Children’s Services Council Florida Statute
A Children’s Services Council is a special taxing district created specifically to fund children’s services in the county where it exists. Chapter 125 of the Florida Statutes governs the creation and operation of a CSC. Florida is the only state in the nation to have a law that enables local communities to create a special taxing district for the purpose of investing in children’s services.
